Again, thank you for your comment. And I am am hopeful that more city,
county, state governments, transit agencies and air/water, and other
environmental boards, commissions, and regulatory agencies join with Santa
Cruz and Pasadena, which I optimistic they will, there will be more people
who want to avail themselves of a folding bicycle and/or other fully
functional bicycles that have an electric assist hub motor. And everyone
else may continue to ride and enjoy their bicycles together.
BTW, I came across the most interesting story about a bicycle escalator to
help people get up steep hills. It's Wild!

Something like this could be a boom for people living or commuting in an
area with one or more very steep hills.
