their Millennium library system. The University of Washington will be

Ebrary, the e-book supplier, is to license its core technology for the
distribution and retrieval of high value documents. Early customers are
Stanford university library who will use the software to distribute

* Endeavor announces XML Gateway to LexisNexis

Users of Endeavor's ENCompass tool will be able to search content from
the main LexisNexis databases through an XML gateway. The system will

* FirstSearch to link directly to JSTOR

OCLC's is working with JSTOR to provide a direct linking service from
its FirstSearch service to JSTOR - the electronic journal archive
service. Users of both services will be able to link directly from a
FirstSearch search to the digital image from the JSTOR collection if

libraries via CHEST, the capability of selecting a customised set of UK

* Endeavor named CrossRref affiliate member

Endeavor has announced that it will become a CrossRef affiliate. The
association will assist users of Endeavor's LinkFinderPlus system to
resolve the "appropriate copy" problem - finding the most suitable
electronic copy of a full text article from a reference in an abstract
or index.

Wiley have added 15 new journal titles to their MobileEdition service.
This service delivers journal TOC and abstracts direct to wireless PDAs
