Position Profile:
SimpleTuition seeks a creative, high-energy visual designer to expand
the design vision and brand to new web-based products. SimpleTuition
is a company dedicated to making education and finance choices easier
for consumers with a unique online comparison-shopping platform.
You are an individual with a sound design process and the ability to
develop and lead designs from conception through completion. The
qualified candidate should have the demonstrated ability to shape the
design vision for projects, and to visually communicate rich data for
consumer products and services. Formal design training is a must,
including color theory, typography, layout, and corporate branding.
Responsibilities:
=E2=80=A2 Lead visual designs throughout the product lifecycle, from initia=
l
explorations to final deliverables
=E2=80=A2 Produce layouts, user interface elements, color palettes,
typography, and storyboards
=E2=80=A2 Translate product concepts into engaging designs
=E2=80=A2 Work with the marketing team to provide graphic assets and
production for email, landing pages, banner ads, print ads, sales
materials
=E2=80=A2 Maintain and promote brand and design consistency across channels
=E2=80=A2 Advocate for innovation while balancing user needs, product
branding, budget, and schedule
=E2=80=A2 Collaborate with development and business teams to help craft and
implement a product vision
=E2=80=A2 Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art techniques, best practices=
,
and developments within the design community
Qualifications:
=E2=80=A2 BFA or MFA in graphic design or related design field
=E2=80=A2 Minimum of 5 years experience in web and print design
=E2=80=A2 Strong conceptual, typographic, design, layout, production, editi=
ng,
and print prep skills
=E2=80=A2 Outstanding organizational skills and self-motivation
=E2=80=A2 Comfortable working with company top management
=E2=80=A2 Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
=E2=80=A2 Flexibility and ability to work in high-paced deadline driven env=
ironment
=E2=80=A2 Personal commitment to high quality performance through integrity=

accountability, compassion, and teamwork
=E2=80=A2 Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
=E2=80=A2 Excellent knowledge of web graphic applications and building dyna=
mic
web applications
=E2=80=A2 Multimedia and social media experience is a plus
