Hi Ken,
This list was dedicated to the discussion of Genius- here defined as that masculine psychological quality that endeavors alone and unaided in the search for what is ultimately true. This definition is in sharp contrast to the socially accepted definition of genius which involves highly developed talent, intellectual or otherwise (e.g. Einstein, Mozart, Bach, Hawking...etc.).
The Genius spoken of here can be cultivated by anyone who is willing to take the solitary journey to truth, no matter how much of what he finds may fly in the face of convention. I recommend checking out this site for a better definition: The Absolute - truth, thinking, philosophy, genius , The Thinking Man's Minefield and David Quinn's site may be of special interest.
Some such individuals who are considered Geniuses by many of the contributors are: Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Nietzsche, Diogenes of Sinope, Kierkegaard, Nagarjuna, Hakuin, Meister Eckhart... etc. I would consider the following present-day contributors of similar wisdom and merit: David Quinn, Kevin Solway and Dan Rowden (the moderators and operators of this list and the linked websites).

Yeah, I like the list format too.
What exactly was the focus of this list? Was this a list of geniuses talking to each other? Or were you talking about geniuses? I was a little confused by the description.
