I heard from Harley's breeder this morning. She said he's the
smallest, fastest and smartest of the puppies... of course. Tonight,
Dad and I put together some weave poles and a jump that I ordered on
eBay. Maverick happily jumped back and forth a dozen or so times while
Indy jumped only three. That sounds about right. I had it set to about
halfway up Indy's chest, so it wasn't much of a jump for Maverick, since
he's half again as tall (but only 20 pounds heavier). I don't want them
to hurt themselves, though. Maverick just turned twelve and is in great
shape while Indy is eight and FAT. We need to get some tape for the
connectors on the weave poles because they just flopped over and weren't
much of a challenge, laying on the ground like that. I look forward to
the time when Harley is big enough and old enough to start agility. He
won't be able to jump until he's over a year, but he'll love the
tunnel... he is a terrier, after all. Well, time for bed. Enjoy the

Why do you get bags under your eyes when you are tired?
Feeling exhausted? Wondering why you have bags under your eyes that

Lack of proper restful sleep seems to cause dark rings for reasons
not properly understood. The skin around the eye is the thinnest found
anywhere on the body, and this thin skin allows dark, venous blood to
show through. Dark rings around the eyes are a common problem. They
appear to be genetic and can get worse as you age and your skin gets
thinner. Adequate rest, good nutrition and overall good health tend to
make the circles less noticeable. You can also wear sunglasses all the
time.
