*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Welcome to Giggles & Grins! *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
Harley and I survived our first day apart. He kept my mom busy:
feeding, loving and watching him. I kept myself busy showing his
pictures to anyone I could tackle in the hallway. I am having trouble
with my cd/dvd drive, or I would show you some of the ones we've taken.
He fell asleep a few minutes ago in my arms, and I put him in the crate
so I could send the Giggles. Mom bought a heating pad so that I can try
to get him to sleep in his crate until he's fully housebroken. He does
pretty well, until he gets cold and then he hollers until I get him out.
I love sleeping with him in the bed, but it's not safe until he's
housebroken. Not much else is happening around here lately, not that I
would notice if it was. Enjoy the Giggles!

Before we took our science test, Mrs. Jones, our teacher, enumerated
how much each multiple-choice or true/false question was worth.
Realizing, however, that the total points did not equal 100, she smiled
and said, "You'll get five points for putting your name on your test."
"Mrs. Jones," a boy in the back called out, "can we write our names
more than once?" ~~Reader's Digest

Who puts that much work into carving food?? I guess it lasts a little
longer than ice sculptures.

A man in Washington State almost died when he kissed his pet
rattlesnake on the lips. He was rushed to the hospital and listed in
"serious" condition. Hours later, doctors were able to upgrade his
condition to merely "stupid."

Useless Trivia
Does eating fresh parsley cure bad breath?
Parsley was used in the past in medicinal recipes for cure-alls,
general tonics, poison antidotes, and kidney and bladder stone relief.
Parsley is rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamins A and C.
It is also said to be rich in antioxidants. Parsley also can relieve
bad breath, although there are no medical studies linking it to
halitosis. It is good to note that there are two varieties of parsley:
curly-leafed and flat-leafed, which has the stronger flavor. Therefore
the flat-leaf kind is better to cure your chili dog breath.
