I'm beginning to think I should just give up on the Giggles. It's
been so long since the last time I sent any that I can't even remember
how long it has been. What's been happening? My niece has gone home to
Fresno to start college and now my friend, Angela, is visiting from
Georgia. Having houseguests has something to do with me being too busy
to keep in touch, but it's not the only reason. Tucker, my middle cat,
got sick and we thought he was going to have to be put to sleep.
Evidently, he has a bad heart and had developed a raging infection. At
the last minute, he started to respond to antibiotics and his appetite
returned. He had eaten only a spoonful of food a day for over a week,
so we were really worried. But he's fine now. He just has to take a
diuretic pill every day. We've been busy going to the Renaissance
Festival and camping, too. But that is still not the main reason I
haven't been in touch. Mostly it's because I'm just plain lazy. I come
home from work and feed my showdog.com dogs and go to bed. I need to
get some ambition again. Do you know where I could pick some up? I've
been looking, but I obviously don't know where to shop. Enjoy the

Useless Trivia
Hans Christian Andersen was close friends with Charles Dickens.
Andersen even dedicated his book Poet's Day Dream to Dickens in 1853.
But this didn't stop Dickens from letting Andersen know when he'd
overstayed his welcome at Dickens's home. He printed a sign and left it
on Andersen's mirror in the guest room. It read: "Hans Andersen slept
