WHAT:
GreenWays Initiative Funders Workshop: Funding opportunities for
greenways planning and development
The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan invites you to the
fourth GreenWays Initiative Funders Workshop, a convening of funding
sources that support the planning and development of greenways and green
community investments. Various public agencies and organizations will
provide valuable information on avaialble funds, application processes,
and eligible expenses. Please join us to learn more about these funding
opportunities and to help continue the planning and construction of
greenways in southeast Michigan.
Funds in attendance will be:
Access to Recreation, Great Lakes Fishery Trust, Congestion
Mitigation/Air Quality Funding, Brownfields/Coastal Management Funding
Supplemental Environmental Projects, People and Land, Natural Resources
Trust Fund, Transportation Enhancement Fund, Safe Routes to School,
National Fish and Wildlife Federation, USEPA Office of Smart Growth,
USEPA Great Lakes National Program Office
