4th International Child Art Exhibition-2006
In the series of conducting artistic programmes, Kshitij has organised 7
National & 3 International Child Art Exhibitions up till 2005. A Staggering
figure of 84242 participants from all over the world has esteemed the
exhibitions organized by kshitij & every year about 10000 participants
increase the participants tally.
Art sees no limitations, it crosses all bars of caste, creed & culture to
create diversity in unity. Art harmonious various cultures into one bonding
& kshitij is just a tool to do that. As the management of Kshitij we wish to
create a diversified, modular, self propelled interminable environment for
upliftment & promotion of art & literature. We are determined to convert
this ideate into reality through interpolation of our directive efforts &
your continuous will to contribute towards it success for which we invite
all of you to participate.
We hope for a wonderful response from young upcoming artists & people from
all sections of the globe to participate & promote the efforts of kshitij.
The last date for participation for Exhibition is 31st August, 2006 for
National Entries and 30th September 2006 for International Entries.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION
1. Each School or a group of students should send minimum of 20 entries
however their is no limit to maximum entries. Below 20 entries will not be
accepted.
2. Only Life members are allowed to participate individually. A minimum of 5
entries is required to be send by a life member from India & 10 entries in
case of International life members.

GENERAL Rules & Regulations :
(Paintings/ Greetings/ Cartoon/ Poem/ Essay-Story)
1. Entry means a Painting/ Greeting/ Cartoon/ Poem/ Essay-Story.
2. Entries must be on paper.
3. Entries can be in respect of any subject or theme.
4. Entries must be made by the student himself. No copied works are allowed.
The works aided by some other persons, can be rejected at any stage.
5. Art work can be made in any medium, like Water Colours, Pastels, Pencils
or Paper Cuttings etc. And Poem/ Essay- Story can be a typed matter or
written by hand legibly through Ink pen/ ball pen in Hindi or English
language.
6. Parcel of entries should be packed properly .
7. Please enclose two self addressed envelope duly stamped (Rs. 5/-) with
the parcel of entries in respect of entries sent from within India. It is to
be noted that there is no need to send a stamped envelope &/or a self
addressed envelope in case of entries sent from outside India.
8. Every entry should have on its back:- (use only capital letters)
i) Participant's Name ii) E-mail id of participant/ parents iii) Title
of the Entry
iv) Teacher Name v) Class & Group vi) School Name, City & Country
9. Full details of participant should be in clear legible block letters on
the back of entry, faliure of which would make the entry liable to be
rejected on the option of management.
10. Renowned personality in respective field will judge the entries. The
decision of the jury, formed for this purpose, will be final without any
jurisdiction.
11. The Results (Under Online Result option) & Exhibition (Under Gallery
option) will be displayed on the website www.kshitij.org latest by 15th
December, 2006.
12. Participants will send their entries at their own risk and expenses.
13. Enties will not be sent back to the participants.
14. Rules are arbitrary and subject to change, if needed.

Group A - Up to 1st Standard, (Age upto 5 Year)
Group B - 2nd to 3rd Standard, (Age upto 5+ to 8 Year)
Group C - 4th to 6th Standard, (Age upto 8+ to 11 Year)
Group D - 7th to 9th Standard, (Age upto 11+ to 14 Year)
Group E - 10th to 12th Standard, (Age upto 14+ to 18 Year)
Group F - For Handicap Participants & ( No Age Limit)
Group G - For Life Members & Art Teachers (No Age Limit)

SIZE OF PAINTING/ CARTOON/ GREETING :
Size of the Painting/ Cartoon should not exceed 15" x 11" and Size of
Greeting should not exceed 7" x 10". No mounted work will be entertained.

AGE GROUP & WORD LIMIT :
(Poem, Essay/ Story)
Group A - Up to 5th Standard or 10 Year Age (words upto 75 words)
Group B - 6th to 9th Standard or 10+ to 14 Year Age (words upto 125 words)
Group C - 9th to 12th Standard or 14+ to 18 Year Age (words upto 175 words)
Group D - Handicap Participants (words as per group A,B,C)
Group E - Life Members of Kshitij (words as per group A,B,C)
Group G - No Words Limit for Teachers

AWARDS :
1. 20 Gold Medal, 20 Silver Medal and 20 Bronze Medal for each group.
(Medals are plated)
2. Every Participant will be awarded a certificate of merit.
3. A separate category of awards is made for Art Teachers, Life Members and
Handicap participants. Teachers under Group G can send two entries for
participation without any entry fee subject to minimum 20 entries of
students sent along with their entries.
4. Kshitij Ratna Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send
entries more than 200.
5. Kshitij Kalashri Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send
entries more than 100.
6. The prizes of those participants who cannot collect their prizes
personally for some reasons will be sent by regd. post/courier latest by
28th Feb., 2007.

ENTRY FEE :
1. Rs. 35 per National Entry (from India) & Rs. 75 per International Entry.
(from other countries), Rs. 75 Indian Currency or Equivalent Amount of
other Currency. One participant can send any number of entries. For example
if a participant sends 2 paintings, 1 greeting, 1 cartoon then his total
entries are 2+1+1=4 and his entry fees becomes 4 x Rs. 35 = Rs. 140 & 4X75 =
Rs. 300 respectively.
2. Entry fee is charged @ Rs. 20.00 (For India) and Rs. 50 (For other
Countries) for handicapped participants per entry.
3. Entry fees should be sent by Bank Demand Draft or Western Union Money
Transfer only in favour of " KSHITIJ " , payable at New Delhi or Gurgaon
(Haryana).
4. A single Bank Demand Draft of total amount should be sent by the
institution calculated according to the total number of entries.
5. Entry fees can also be sent by Money Order or by cash (only by hand.)
only for National Participants.

ABOUT LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Interested artists and art lovers can join a life membership by paying Rs.
500. The amount will be utilised for the development programmes of art &
literature. The life members' photo will be displayed on the website
www.kshitij.org <http://www.kshitij.org> to introduce them to our members
and participants.
Life Membership form is included in the prospectus.
