Cool post - yep, the only thing I put between myself and my amp when the
jamming gets really raunchy is a wah-wah pedal for when I really wanna tear
somebody's head off...
Have you tried a good overdrive like a Klon or Fulltone 2 in front of your
SOB??? You could probably set it up for a cleaner clean that way....
