 Oct 09, 2001 23:14 PDT
Hiya folks,

I'm a DJ on a college radio station (KPSU-AM) and my show is the Guitar
Shop. The bottom portion of this message is the official "blurb"
concerning the show.

We have a month of interviews on the Guitar Shop!
Oct. 17th - a taped interview from late 2000 with Steve Morse, guitarist
for the Dixie Dregs, Steve Morse Band and Deep Purple.
Oct. 24th - a live phone interview with Michael Manring, bassist (solo)
and also with Attention Deficit.
Oct. 31st - live phone interview with guitarist Alex Skolnick of
Attention Deficit.
Nov. 7th - live phone interview with guitarist Dave Martone.

And, in December, Mike Keneally is scheduled for a phone interview.

The Guitar Shop features those guitarists who are virtuoso or well
respected in their particular genre...rock, blues, jazz, classical. Here
you'll find tunes from the following: Segovia, Clapton, Petrucci (Dream
Theater), Julian Bream, Alexander Lagoya, Liona Boyd, Steve Morse,
Satriani, Vai, Eric Johnson, Wes Montgomery, Emily Remler, Joe Pass,
Mike Stern, Larry Coryell, Leni Stern, Django Reinhardt, Charlie
Christian, Tal Farlow, Eddie Lang, Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Johnson,
Mississippi John Hurt, BB King, Joanna Connor, Sonny Landreth, Albert
Collins, Luther Allison, Alex Skolnick, Randy Rhoads, and many other
guitarists and bassists as well.

The Guitar Shop is broadcast each Wednesday night from 5-6 p.m. Pacific
Time - on the web at www.kpsu.org, and click on webcast. This is the
homepage of KPSU 1450 AM in the Portland Oregon metro area.

Please check out our webpage at www.pcez.com/~feech/guitarshop - there's
also links to KPSU and other pages there as well.

Thanks!
