Help us STOP huge and harmful cuts to MaineCare!

Come to the Augusta Civic Center on Monday, March 15, beginning at 9:00
a.m. to show the Legislature that you oppose the Governor's proposed
cuts to MaineCare Services for all adults, including the elderly and
disabled, in the following areas:

Podiatric >Rehabilitative (Brain Injury)
Occupational Therapy

Adult Day Health >Dental
Speech and Hearing

Physical Therapy >Attendant Services
Audiology

Social Workers >Hearing Aid Dealers
Psychological Services

Optometric >Ambulatory Care Clinics
Prosthetics/Orthotics

Speech Pathology

The Governor has proposed even more cuts in MaineCare for
"non-categoricals" (adults without minor children whose income is below
100 percent of the federal poverty guidelines), including the
elimination of transportation and case management, limits on inpatient
and outpatient care and an end to retroactive coverage.

If you are free on Monday, please come to the Augusta Civic Center! The
public hearing begins at 9:00 a.m. We need LARGE numbers of people to
show their concern!

In addition, please call your legislators. The toll-free message number
for your senator is 1.800.423.6900. The toll-free message number for
your representative is 1.800.423.2900. If do not know the names of your
