Take Action to Save MaineCare Benefits Today!  Lisa Webber

A message from our friends at Maine Equal Justice

The Governor's budget would completely cut many essential services out of MaineCare(Medicaid) for adults starting July 1st of this year. These proposed cuts include complete elimination of dental services, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, podiatry services and other critical services.

This proposed budget would also eliminate many drugs from the Low Cost Drug Program.

The Legislature needs to find another way to balance the budget.

Please contact your State Senator, your Representative AND the Governor's office.

**********Please tell them: Please don't cut MaineCare or the Low Cost Drug Program!   It would be fairer to charge a little more for things like cigarettes than to hurt people who need medical care. ****************

Things are happening quickly. Please call before the end of the day on Monday, March 22nd.

Recycle Cartridges and Support CAHC. TonerDonation pays for empty inkjet and laser toner cartridges that you would usually throw away! Here's how it works...Collect empty inkjet and laser toner cartridges; contact TonerDonation to receive free boxes and pre-paid return shipping labels; return empty cartridges, and CAHC will receive a donation. This fundraiser is ongoing (collect cartridges year-round). Just like aluminum cans, empty laser and inkjet cartridges have value, but a much greater value. For each cartridge collected, CAHC can earn much needed funding. It's simple, Cash for Trash Dollars, and it's good for the environment as well, since most cartridges we collect can be remanufactured. Go to www.tonerdonation.com and REGISTER TODAY!
