While it is nice to see another study that once more concludes that
homeschooling can give outcomes that are academically superior in
comparison with school, the focus of this study is on one specific
group, on academic tests and on specific moral values. This issue is
addressed extensively in the commentary attached to this study.

Yes, I agree that it would be nice for a change to see a focus not on
testing of academic performance, but, as Ben says, on communication
skills, personal development, initiative, creativity, self-confidence,
spontaneity, etc. But I guess we cannot expect such a focus to come from
the academic establishment, and neither not from a conservative
institution like the Bob Jones University.
