Change to terms and conditions - more responses  HR Executive Moderator

With out detracting from the advice given you would be on very thin ice
to use the retrenchment/restructuring route to change terms and
conditions proposed.
The issue is

- why does your MD wish to change comm.
- what is detailed in your letter of appointments/policy

There is nothing in law that prevents the renegotiation of contracts but
merely the unfair unilateral change in terms and conditions of
employment Unilateral as is implies is any change where no negotiation
or consultation takes place. If there is valid and fair reason changes
can take place following the above
