What is the grounds they base the reduction on.
In cases of demotion (non performance) upon your agreement as an
employee it will be valid.
They can either retrench you (pay off your package) and reengineer your
salary to a lower one.
If you have entered into an agreement can only this be deemed legal.
It can be effected immediately. if the above stated adhered to.
they will then offer you the option of looking elsewhere if you cant
take the reduction in pay
