RE: A short ending to the MD Lotion trial  Martin & Val
 Jan 28, 2009 18:58 PST

Hi Ian
Val and live south of Melbourne, Victoria. Never been to Sydney. I do miss
the English countryside and all the history though. But Australia is my home
now. Thank you for your compliment, but I am no hero. Guys like Nick are the
true hero's for they spent years without any help or hormonal guidance. Hey
it was five years before I got on the net and found sites which helped me to
accept the testicular cancer, then the atrophy which resulted in one, having
no real testicals of my own [ although I have Orb, a single prosthetic] and
having the realism of being on testosterone replacement for the rest of my
life. All I am doing is passing on the information that was given to me,
helping others as others have greatly helped me. I am though a soap-box
advocate for individuals taking responsibility for themselves, to research
and understand the what's and why's of their own predicament. And to
ultimately base any medication dosage on how they feel and not to accept the
cop out that they are within the normal range and that should be ok. If we
were all clones that would be the case, but we are not.

That's it now, from a clear blue sky, heat wave few days of 43 degrees in
Melbourne. Val says the only good thing about is that the washing dries on
the line quicker

Hello Martin, I live in Honiton, I have been all over the place, Scotland ,

Yorkshire, Blackpool, some people are convinced Sandra and I are on the run,

or in witness protection ha ha !! I have been to Plymouth a few times, not
a bad place , where are you in Oz ? and how long have you been there ? we

managed to get out twice to see my daughter , she lived in Sydney at first
and now has moved out to a new development called Voyager point , used to be

owned by the Goverment for the army I think , beautiful. I loved the country

, would move tomorrow if I was'nt so old and skint !! ha ha !!   it is the
place I would reccomend anyone thinking of moving abroad to go to Oz rules
!!!! Incidently. I have had a vein removed from my left leg, it was about 4

years ago now, like you I inherited it from my mother , it was a fairly
routine procedure, had to wear a surgical type stocking for a couple or
three weeks , got over it although I havea bit of calf cramp ever since,
but I can live with that   a doddle compared with this rotten feeling i have

most days I just hope things begin to improve, I know from reading all the

mail going back and forwards that you have been a real hero as far as trying

to help your Brothers improve theit lives Martin,   so I wish you the best
of luck with your future treatments , and I hope that you and Val can have a

great future together, taks care mate and stay well

 Hi Ian
My dislike for the injections is just a personal preference, so please do
not be put off. I spent so long going back and forth to the docs for the
implants and getting the time sequence right, I am just over it. The gel
for
me, now being second rate to the trial product, is just simplistic. I have
heard from many guys who are on the injections and would have nothing
else.
Just go for what YOU are happy with. Anyway what part of Devon do you
live.
Val and I spent two years in Plymouth, in fact we got married there

martin.
