And this is one of the weakest spots in the Kalam
argument. NO theist has ever been able to provide a
coherent explanation of how a cause of the universe,
even supposing it did have a cause, would have to
possess anything like the properties attributed to
God. They can't even show that the "cause" would have
to be alive or conscious, let alone omnipotent,
omniscient, or omnibenevolent.
