I can blame them. Muslims brought the crusades on

Then you shoild not blame the Arabs (Canaanites), now Palestinians for
wanting to kill off the Jews who (according to the Old Testament) went
in and killed off the Arabs. They started it!

I was curious where it was stated that theJews "killed off the Arabs"
in the OT.
Thanks,

You're joking or you're trying to waste my time. I can't believe you
are that stupid.

Interesting bedside matter. I think that you should be careful with
your derogatory comments when what you write is clearly wrong. First,
although you can find support for your claim, it is argumentative that
the Arabs of today are the Canaanites of old (assuming that this is
what you claim); I suspect that many of your sources would also argue
that Israelites are of Canaanite descent too. Second, however, you
used the OT as reference which clearly demarcates Arabs and Canaates;
therefore, per your reference your comments are simply wrong. You
would have a better argument, although still argumentative, if you
claimed that some Lebanese are of Canaanite descend. In either case,
you would have a hard time defending your arguments.
I suspect that you are attempting to twist the data so that your pet
theories can be justified.
There is certainly tension reflecting in you referenced, the OT,
between Israelites and what it calls Arabs. History might even argue
that Arabs were the initial aggressor into what was historically
Jewish land.
Tensions in the Middle East are undoubtedly more related to Arab
Palestinian aggression than Israel's. Clearly, Israel is only trying
to survive amidst a majority that wishes to destroy it. If the
majority of Palestinians could have their way and could murder every
Jew in the Middle East, there would still be problems in what would
then called Palestine. The Palestinians would start to fight among
themselves (as we have recently seen). Incursions from Syria or other
Arab countries would make the situation worse.
The Arab world has plenty of land to resettle the Palestinians. The
problem is that they do not want to resettle them. The kings of Jordan
was presented with great problems when they tried to help the
Palestinians following the formation of Israel. As such, the other
Arab countries do not really wish to help the Palestinians (for fear
of them), although they are happy to use them to get at Israel.
I am not a Jew but would agree with Golda Meir's statement: "Peace
will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate
us." The problem in the Middle East is Arab hate.

You are probably right about my derogatory remarks but where is what I
write so clearly wrong? If the Arabs of today are not the Canaanites of
old then please show me when the Canaanites were dispersed and the Arabs
took over. The Palestinians have lived there for centuries so even if
they are not the Canaanites of old, it was still the land they lived in.
The Israelis (those coming in from Europe and other places) are
newcomers. Frankly, I do not see what difference it makes where the
Palestinians came from, they were there for centuries unless you can
show me otherwise.
I am not interested in twisting the facts. I am only interested is
finding the truth and Chip is the one making the unsubstantiated
statements. There are many Jews who do not believe Israel should be
there at this time under these circumstances but they are in the
minority. My interest in this is the cost of these wars to the US in
dollars, lives, arms, legs, eyes, genitals, brains and freedoms.
It was the Romans who kicked the Jews out of Palestine, not the Arabs.
If you can show me otherwise, please do.
The Israeli’s have stolen much of the land owned by Palestinians. The
Palestinians want the right to return and Israel will not give it to
them. Additionally Israel continues to make more settlements in what is
left of Palestinian territory. The UN has written more resolutions
against Israel than any other nation and the US has vetoed every one of
them.
If we were to leave the Middle East to the Jews and the Arabs and stop
supporting them I would have no problem. If you are so much in favor of
Israel, why don’t you volunteer for the Marines or have your children
volunteer? Maybe you do and that would shut my mouth.
Many Palestinians fled their land because their own leaders told them
the Jews were going to kill them all if they stayed. Who would you
believe?
Yes, the Arab world has plenty of land to resettle the Palestinians and
I could agree that maybe they should but why? Do you really think the
Arab people love the US and Israel?
The problem in the Middle East is not only Arab hate, it is American
Imperialism.
Please tell me why and to what extent the US should be supporting
Israel. That is the question.
