Please tell me why and to what extent the US should be supporting
Israel. That is the question.

The US should support Israel whatever it takes including up to and
including my life, as anything less than that will allow evil people
to win.
Why? I will let Edmund Burke's well-known quote to speak for me:
?The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to
do nothing.?
Perhaps given the context of this thread, perhaps I should quote a
Jew, Albert Einstein:
"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but
because of those who look on and do nothing."
