| Purpose: |
The imba listserv was created to help keep mountain bicycling activists and representatives of the International
Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) connected, to share information, and to discuss strategies. IMBA is a non-profit, 501(c3) corporation
comprised of individual, club, dealer, and industry members throughout
the United States and many foreign nations. The mission of IMBA is to promote mountain bicycling opportunities through socially and environmentally responsible use of land. The purpose of this list is to discuss recreational access issues, responsible riding, ethics, public and private land management, trails development and maintenance, government actions relevant to mountain bicycling, news articles,
activities of IMBA and IMBA members, and upcoming advocacy events. Posts regarding those issues are appropriate. |
