List Name intprop-l European Intellectual Property Law (intprop-l)
Purpose: A new European Intellectual Property Law discussion mailing list

INTPROP-L is an unmoderated list addressing IP professionals.
INTPROP-L shall be devoted to all matters related to the intellectual
property law of all jurisdictions of Europe, e.g. trademark law,
patent law, or copyright law, thereby understanding the concept of
"Europe" in its broadest sense and by no means restricted to the EU.
However, especially contributions referring to U.S. law should not be
posted via INTPROP-L; there are other excellent mailing lists and
newsgroups dealing with various aspects of U.S. law.

Opinions on current legal issues as well as on political developments
in the field of IP law are welcome as well as relevant issues for the
IP practitioner utilizing the Internet as a knowledge tool.

Relevant items to be discussed might, inter alia, be:

- problems of IP protection on the Internet;

- problems of OHIM practice;

- legal protection of computer software and data bases in a European
context;

- utilization of the Internet by IP professionals;

- problems of domain name law in a European context;

- developments of EU IP law relating to trademarks and patents, e.g.
the EU Green Paper on Patents; or

- changes and developments of IP law in European countries.

Please note that unlawful content, flames as well as commercial
advertising will not be tolerated; the respective senders might
be removed from the list.

At the time being the INTPROP-L mailing list has no archive.
