This has been very quiet for ages but the date is getting closer - only
a month away now! Is it still happening? Are there still plans afoot?
If so, should it be on the jt.com website by now (or have I missed
something?)

No you haven't missed anything Pam (and All) The show definitely will be
on. We have some local talent showing up for the matinee at2p.m. and
the main performance too starting at 7:30p.m. on the 5th. There is even
a Traditional Curry supper laid on for those who partake in such things
cooked and prepared by genuine Curry Masters from Land of Currys. It
just so happens that the weekend of the 5/6 September is also Rush
Gathering weekend down in the valley of Sowerby Bridge while in Norland
it is Scarecrow Festival, so there will be plenty of folks around and
things to do if you decide to come early.
The shows are free but all I ask is that you make a donation at the
door. 20% will go to supporting future JakeFest expenses and 80% will go
to Cancer Research.
Our love to you all
Clive and Sonia
