I just finished through-hiking the Kek westbound starting at Gunflint
Lodge, so it included the BRT west of the Lodge to the Gunflint TH.
The Ham Lake fire area was missing some of the flagging that I saw
last year, but the treadway was much more used and visible. We
navigated the section with no difficulties.
My compatriots did the whole BRT the week before and had no issues
other than the trees down over the trail, though they did use my GPS
tracks from last year. I'll see if I can't get one of them to provide
whatever notes they have on the BWCAW sections.
