--About 80,000 KeO bicycle pedals, made in France and distributed by
Look Cycle USA, because the steel axle inside the pedal can break,
posing a fall hazard to cyclists. The company has received 14 reports
of broken pedal incidents, including seven injuries such as scrapes,
cuts, contusions, elbow pain and a knee injury. The recalled pedals
are
black and include the models KeO Classic, KeO Sprint, KeO HM and KeO
Carbon. They were sold separately from bicycles at specialty bicycle
stores nationwide from January 2004 through July 2007. Details: by
