+++ RAW IS CEDRIC THOUGHTS. The opening with Cedric was different, very
entertaining. He is a funny dude.
DX promo to start the show about their match against Cody & Ted at Hell
in the Cell in a Cell. They put over how many times they have been in
the Cell and that Rhodes & DiBiase never have and the last time they
were in it they beat up Vince and they liked him. Funny was Lawler &
Cole kept harping on how this may be the first tag team match in a Cell
and how it is the first time DX has ever teamed in it, which HHH & HBK
put over that NOT to be the case in the promo and Lawaler & Cole weren't
paying attention. If I ran the show, both would be terminated or
demoted. You just can't have your tv guys on your A show telling the
story to the audience that they don't even listen to two of your top
stars promo's.
HHH beat Cody Rhodes by dq when DiBiase got involved with a steel chair.
They had Rhodes go toe to toe with HHH which sort of looked strange but
they are doing everything they can do get them over as a strong team.
They took out HBK on the floor and then destroyed HHH in the ring with
stiff chair shots. HBK eventually made the save with the sledgehammer.
Promo with Cedric & Santino where Santino kept calling him Fred. This
led to Chavo coming out and challenging Cedric and Santino accepted for
him.
Josh Matthews interviewed Miz with the stolen U.S. Title and Kofi sneak
attacks Miz from behind to collect his belt and leaves.
Miz beat Evan Bourne. Bourne is already being used to establish other
talent are better then he is, he should have stayed on ECW.
Randy Orton gives Cody & Ted the night off because he thinks they are on
the cusp of putting DX out for good at the PPV.
John Cena & Randy Orton sign their contract. Cena plays it intense and
straight with a sprinkle of comedy. Cena tells Orton that when the door
is locked at the PPV he is going to destroy him and is not going to be
the same Cena has usually is.
Orton told Cena he'd like nothing better to RKO him through the table
but as per the non physical rule he can't but he found two guys that did
not like Cena from day one. Big Show & Chris Jericho come out and they
attack Cena. MVP & Mark Henry make the save and then Cedric books a six
man tag.
Beth Phoenix beat Mickie James as Alicia Fox distracted her.
Kofi Kingston beat Jack Swagger to retain the U.S. Title by count out
when Miz tried to steal the belt all over again but Swagger played
babyface to stop him and then LEFT with the belt... are you kidding me?
So he cares more about stealing it then trying to win it in a match?
Makes sense.
Cedric The Entertainer beat Chavo Guerrero (hey who doesn't?) but this
may have introduced a new character, we can hope. During the match
Cedric put on a luchador mask. This allowed him to hide under the ring
as a HUGE african american wrestler (David Otunga? maybe) took his place
and destroyed Chavo doing rudimantary moves. Also Hornswoggle appeared
in the same outfit to hit the frog splash so Cedric returned for the
pin. They all three celebrated.
Al Shaprton is your host next week.. WOOOO!! YES!! This is going to be
surreal!
Cedric was hitting on Kelly Kelly and Jericho came in and stared him
down and said they had to talk, explained in the main event stips.
Lawler puts over this is Lilian's last night in the company and she did
a teary eyed classy farewell deal. WWE is so good when it does this.
Jericho announced that if Cena wins he gets a 3 on 1 gauntlet v. Orton
next week but if Orton's team wins Cena is 3 on 1.
Randy Orton & Chris Jericho & Big Show beat Mark Henry & John Cena & MVP
when Orton RKO's Henry for the pin and that puts Cena in the 3 on 1
superman prevails match.
+++ SALT ON HELLWIG'S WOUNDS. Judge Rolsyn O. Silver informed Warrior
that he has to cover WWE's legal bills in the lawsuit he brought against
them, which he lost. So he has to flip the near $20 thousand dollar
bill.
+++ BOOGEYMAN LOST IN REALITY. Marty Wright has vanished according to
Scott O. Epstein, who was signed on by Wright to represent him as a
booking agent. Epstein booked Wright to appear at many shows but Wright
has since simply dissapeared (he is a flake so he is likely just in one
of those moods that he doesn't want to work). Eptstein wanted to put
the promoters on notice that sent money in advance that he can't contact
Wright any longer and Wright likely won't be making those appearances.
+++ RAW AFTERMATH. After the camera's ended WWE did the classy thing for
Lilian when HHH brought out Lilian after the dark match and Lilian did
the classic DX entrance promo with them and after DX left they played
"I've had the time of my life" as Lilian once again said goodbye in
tears and then her fiance came down to the ring and danced with her
inside the WWE ring.
