Unidisk 1.1 Silver Disk Engine L1, L2, L3 or L4?  Nathan Drummond
 Mar 14, 2009 12:33 PST

Hello All,

I am considering purchasing an ex-dem Unidisk 1.1, with what I believe
are the latest H8S, ESS and Mech versions (release 9 Jan 09).

H8S: v223 (S1150223)
ESS: v231 (S1520231)
Mech: v420 (03.04.02.00)

The unit has the fan and standby upgrades, but the Silver Disk Engine
board is L1 (PCAS297L1R18).

Understanding that further Mech upgrades will require opening the unit
to use the UniProg breakout with Conn_439 cable, are there other reasons
why having an L2, L3 or L4 board is preferred?

If so, anyone have any idea on the cost of having the unit upgraded to
the latest L4?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best regards,
Nathan
