Hi Nancy,
We are using WebCT Vista too. The university has two centers for Vista
assistance. One center is for faculty where they learn basics, and can
get some help in course design. The other center is in the library, and
serves students who need help with WebCT and more. The library doesn't
staff those centers, but we have similar roles to a lesser degree.
The services we support in the library, through reserve services,
include uploading .pdf, ram - audio files, and provide support for
linking to our online leased resources with purls. This is accomplished
through a tool that was built by WebCT for the university, and our
University IT department handles local situations as they arise. So far
it has worked out pretty well, but there is always room for improvement.

Subject: e-reserves with webct
My library is investigating e-reserves systems. As we already have WebCT
Vista running on campus, I was wondering if any library is using WebCT
for e-reserves and what services they provide to faculty members in
doing this.
Thanks.
Nancy
