As an optometrist, I'm kinda intrigued by this post. The prisms would likely be
just like 45 degree angle mirrors, and there wouldn't be any adaptation at all
(at least visually). Field of view might be narrowed, but for the racetrack that
shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't use these on the street though!

Probably just takes practice. If the Slovenian guys can ride backwards
using a mirror, getting used to these should be a piece of cake.
