RE: wide outside lanes  ko-@maine.rr.com

That question doesn't make sense. Wide outside lanes aren't
bicyclist accomodations.

Does he mean examples of wide outside lane being used as
fast+wide-motorized-vehicle-driver-more-convenient-overtaking-
of-narrow-vehicle facilities?

Subject: [massbike] wide outside lanes

A reporter has asked me for examples of wide outside lanes being
used as bicycle accommodation in Boston. I can only think of
Huntington Ave., the future Rose Kennedy Greenway, and possibly
the future American Legion Highway. Can anyone on the list give
me other examples? Adjacent cities and towns are probably OK, too.
