Volunteers For Bike Week- Duties Listed by Day and Event

Well I finally have the tasks for Bike Week outlined. Thanks to everyone who has made known their preferred dates and tasks. I will try to accommodate your requests.
Scroll Down to the Date(s) you are available or to the event(s) you are interested in. Please let me know by Monday May 15 your preferred dates and tasks.
Friday May 19 - I will need help signing the Route. We will ride the route to sign it and will leave from the Rexford Bridge in the early afternoon.
Saturday May 20 - Tri County River Ride - Colonie Town Park 9:00 am
Two volunteers to help with registration . Arrive at 8:00 am to help set up(You could also double as Rest Stop or Marshall)
One - 28 mile Ride Leader - One Sweep Arrive no later than 8:30 am
One - 43 mile Ride Leader - One Sweep Arrive no later than 8:30 am
One - 10 Mile Ride Leader - One Sweep Arrive no later than 8:30 am
Rest Stops - Three Volunteers needed, but you might want to bring a friend along! You should arrive at the Park by 8:30 am to pick up your supplies. You could also double as a registration person
Marshalls - Four Needed. You should be at the Park by 8:30 to get your Vests and assignments. You could also double as a registration person.
Sunday May 21 Road One Course 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at SUNYA Arts and Sciences Building room 123.
Two Volunteers needed to pick up food for lunch and snacks at 9:00 that morning. Two Volunteers needed to clean up after 5:00 pm.
Tuesday May 23 - Legislative Breakfast 9:00 am - 10:00 am and Ride 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Two Volunteers needed to get the food and set up.
Two Volunteers needed for valet bicycle parking and to keep an eye on the bikes. As many people as possible to join in the ride and schmooze with your legislators.
Tuesday May 23 Kids Day in the Park With TBR 2:30 pm- 5:30 pm. Volunteers needed on Monday May 22 to get the FOOD! Two Volunteers needed at 1:00 pm to set up. As many people as possible are needed to ride with the kids, help out with fitting helmets and make it a generally festive occasion.
2 - 4 Volunteers needed after 5:30 for clean up.
Wednesday - May 24 5:00 pm The Third Annual Great Commuter Contest. We have a Bus Rider and several Cyclists. I need a volunteer to Compete as the Driver from Starbucks on Pearl Street to Starbucks at Stuyvesant Plaza - leaving Pearl Street at 5:00 pm sharp.
As many Volunteers aas possible at Pearl Street Starbucks (Free Coffee!) to cheer on the contestants and as many or more at Stuyvesant Plaza (More Free Coffee) to do the same! Also plan to line the route (Western Avenue, but no coffee until you get to Stuyvesant Plaza) to cheer on the cyclists as they whizz by!
Friday May 26 - RIDE YOUR BIKE TO WORK OR TO SCHOOL OR FOR YOUR ERRANDS!
