Well this must be your lucky day! Just look at all the fun you can have at the Tri-County River Ride at 9:00 am on Saturday May 20 2006 - meeting place Colonie Town Park:

Two very scenic and carefully chosen rest stops still open and looking for a volunteer or two! - Duties at rest stop: hand out goodies, chat up the attractive cyclists, work on your tan, read last Sunday's NYTimes, hand out goodies ...
1) Collins Park in Scotia - East side of the lake at a picnic/fishing spot on
Washington Ave.
2) Jeff Blatnick Park in Niskayuna
picnic tables are available at both locations.
Please arrive at Colonie Town park at 8:30 am to get your supplies
OR
Marshall - We need at least three:
Duties include: Make sure the intersection is clear and safe for the cyclists, give directions, work on your tan, chat up the attractive cyclists...
1) at Rexford Bridge (route 146)
2) at Nott Street (Schenectady) - more for information than danger
3) Freeman's Bridge Road and Sunnyside Road (Scotia)
Please arrive at Colonie Town park at :30 am to get your supplies
OR
You would also be welcome to sweep or lead either of the rides (one 28 mile ride; one 42 mile ride)
Duties of leader - chat up the attractive cyclists, show the way, show off your superior cycling skills.
Duties of the sweep - make sure no one is lost or left behind. Inform the Rest Stop person at Vischer's Ferry that you are the last one to go through, chat up you know who!.
Please arrive at Colonie Town Park by 8:30 am.
OR
You could be a person to ask questions and stamp the "Passports" on the Mystery Tour. - This is a little more involved and I would be happy to discuss it with you! This ride begins at 10:00 am s so you wouldn't have to get to the Park until 9:00. Give me a call 489-5338.
Thanks Again!
and see you on Saturday.
Claire
