GOING TO FORT WORTH?
Midwest District AAHPERD members who are attending the Alliance
Convention in Fort Worth, TX, are invited to the following two events:
1. Midwest District AAHPERD Social, to be held at the Renaissance
Worthington Hotel on Thursday, April 10; 6-8 p.m. in the Brazos Room.
At this social, Midwest District award winners will be recognized and
Presidential Citations for 2007-08 will be presented.
2. Dana Brooks Reception, to be held at the Reata Restaurant (next door
to the Renaissance), 6:15-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th, after the
Alliance Assembly.
This is a reception in honor of our Midwest Candidate for Alliance
President, Dr. Dana Brooks, from West Virginia University. The event
will be held regardless of the outcome of the election, to honor Dana's
leadership and commitment to our profession.
