Officer positions available in Alumni Club

Jackets,
I wanted to let you know that we have three open Officer positions in
our alumni club that need to be filled so that our club can do all the
great events that we put on each year. They are:
Young Alumni Chairperson - Responsible for contacting recent graduates
when they move to the area, and schedule/host one or more events each
year geared towards Young Alumni (in the past two years, we have done a
Deep Sea Fishing Trip and did a dinner & a movie-"Bobby Jones/Stroke of
Genius")
Student Recruiting Chairperson - Responsible for scheduling of
volunteers for local college fairs (about 5 each fall). Also serves on
the scholarship committee to interview President Scholar finalists and
for the Emerald Coast GT Club scholarship during the Spring.
Club Webmaster - Helps keep the website up-to-date with events/photos.
If you're really gung-ho and want to create a separate website like
www.cojackets.org, that's great! But all that really needs to be done
is to upkeep the site at http://gtalumni.org/clubs/emeraldcoast/
The Executive Board meets about every two months in Pensacola on Friday
afternoons. We also usually set up a teleconference for those that
cannot make the meeting in person. These positions, while very
important to the club, do NOT require a large amount of work each year.
