for it. It's a good way to keep current on what's going on at the Athletic
Association, and keeps you informed of when to reorder season tickets, and
also has specials on game priced every once in a while.

25 members of the Georgia Tech football squad achieved a 3.0 grade point
average or higher for the fall semester. Three Tech standouts, Chris Reis,
Travis Bell and Kevin Tuminello, were named to the Academic All-ACC team.

*2006 Football Schedule Announced *   Tech's 2006 football schedule opens
on Sept. 2 as Notre Dame visits Bobby Dodd Stadium. Coming off a 7-5 season
and a school-record 9th straight bowl appearance, Tech faces a challenging
schedule that includes 7 teams that played in bowl games this season,
including 3 schools ranked in the final AP Top 10 and 5 in the Top 25.
The Notre Dame contest is the first of 4 straight home games in a 19-day
span for the Yellow Jackets.

*The Signing Day Celebration will take place Wednesday, February 1st at 7
p.m. in the Club Lounge of Bobby Dodd Stadium. Fans will be able to hear the

*Women's Basketball at No. 6 Maryland Tonight*   The women's basketball
team, 12-6 on the season and 1-4 in ACC play, will travel to College Park
for a matchup with the nation's sixth-ranked team, the Maryland Terrapins,
tonight at 7 p.m. at the Comcast Center. The Jackets are coming off their
first conference win of the season this past Sunday, a 66-61 victory over
Wake Forest at Alexander Memorial Coliseum, while the Terps stand at 17-2 on
the season (4-1 vs. the ACC), with their only losses of the season coming to
No. 1 Tennessee and No. 2 Duke.

men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host its final dual meet of
the season on Saturday against Emory University in the Georgia Tech Aquatic
Center at Noon. The Yellow Jackets will honor seniors Meghan DeVinney, Liz
Foster, Laura Heiser, Jason Howard, Brian Huff, Teemu Kettunen, Ashley
Kracke, Sam Morgan, Laurissa Prystaj, Ryan Riebesell and Jacob Wilson before
the meet gets underway.

*Track & Field Teams Travel to Kentucky for Rod McCravy Memorial*   The
men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Lexington, KY, for
the Rod McCravy Memorial, Jan. 27-28, hosted by the University of Kentucky,
in Nutter Field House. The indoor meet will begin on Friday at 6 p.m. with
the women's pole vault. "The McCravy Memorial meet at Kentucky is another
great opportunity for our team to line up against solid competition in an
outstanding facility," said women's head coach Alan Drosky. "Every meet is
important as we prepare for what looks to be a very tight ACC meet later in

Tech softball team will begin a season nationally ranked for only the 2nd
time in program history (2005) as the Jackets are No. 24 in the preseason
ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll. Tech is the only team in the
ACC ranked. The Jackets ended last season 51-14 and finished runner-up at
the NCAA Athens Regional, hosted by UGA. Tech won the ACC regular season and
tournament championships for the first time in program history and led the
nation with school record 159 stolen bases.

*Bobby Dodd Stadium Club Seat Program Changes for 2006*   The opportunity
to buy into the Bobby Dodd Club seats is still available. The new club seat
pricing, which started mid-season 2005, requires no prior A-T point totals
by patrons. The Bobby Dodd Club seats, which run between the 25-yard lines
in the East stands, are available now for a $400 or $600 contribution per
seat to the Alexander-Tharpe Fund along with the price of season tickets.
Fans in the club sections receive one parking pass per account and access to
the Heisman Club Lounge, a private lounge with comfortable seating,
televisions, upscale concessions, private restrooms and two complimentary
drink vouchers. The response has been excellent with a sellout expected! If
