Jackets,
The time is running very low on getting contributions in to Roll Call. They
are due by Close of Business tomorrow. Please make a small donation online
at www.gtalumni.org today or tomorrow. The Alumni Association is giving
$500 extra to each club's scholarship fund for those clubs that meet their
Roll Call goal. Donations of $10 each from 10 alumni will secure us that
$500 extra to be able to reward our local high school seniors that plan to
attend Tech.
Our next event is the Freshmen Send-off picnic on Sunday, August 6th. The
Alumni Association will be sending out an email invitation to everyone on
their email list soon. Please send in a check or pay online at the club
website (www.gtalumni.org/clubs/emeraldcoast). Cost will be $15 per club
member and $18 per non-club member. Dinner will be at the Marcus Pointe
Country Club in Pensacola (Not at Pensacola Yacht Club) and they will be
providing a barbecue pork buffet. For more information, check out the

Also, if you're interested in playing Fantasy Football this year, the
Emerald Coast GT Club will be doing a live draft at Buffalo Wild Wings in
FWB, FL. They are running a special promotion with CBS Sportsline and will
give our club members $100 in free food. Tentative date is Saturday, August
26th. If you would like to join the league, it will only cost ~$10 per
person to pay for the website, and you will make up that money by the free
food provided during our draft at Buffalo Wild Wings. For more information

There will be a To be Determined prize from the Alumni Club to the winner of
the fantasy football league, as well.
