Hey Jackets,
Football's back into the kick of things, and so is the 2006-07 alumni year.
We've got a lot of events coming up in the near future for the alumni club,
and it'd be great to see you all at the events. Put these on your
calendars. Once more games are added to the television schedule, we'll add
more game-watching parties at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Here's the information:
This Thursday: GT-UVA game-watching party at BWW (99 Eglin Pkwy, FWB)
Next Thursday: 3rd Quarterly poker night at BWW (5:30 dinner, 7:00 free
poker tournament)
Oct 23: Fall Dinner with Joe Hughes at Copeland's in Pensacola (PayPal at
www.gtalumni.org/clubs/emeraldcoast )
Nov 5: Carpool to GT-FSU women's volleyball game in Tallahassee
Nov 11: Game-watching party for GT-UNC football with UNC Panhandle Alumni
Club (TBA)
Also, we're looking to put together a volunteer project in conjunction with
TeamBUZZ: Georgia Tech's volunteer day. If you have an idea for our project
or would like to volunteer, please contact me. Tentative date: Oct. 21
(morning of Clemson away game)
