Hey Folks-
I received a new clutch master cyclinder for replacement of the leaking
one. In looking at the workshop manuals and instruction manual, I am
only getting more and more confused with the bleeding procedures. I have
dual circuit discs and a tandem master brake cyclinder and ALB. Single
plate clutch. Circuit one is for all but the two front most calipers.
Circuit two is for the two front most calipers.Circuit one resevoir also
handles the clutch slave cyclinder. My inclincation is to replace the
clutch cyclinder, bleed the slave for the clutch and then the two front
most calipers. Do I need to bleed circuit two as well? The instruction
manual says for a complete bleed of circuit one, to start by bleeding
the tandem master first, then the ALB, then the calipers, right rear,
left rear, right front rear then left front rear. Does it matter if I do
circuit one or two first? I guess the only way this can be two seperate
circuits is if the tandem master has some physical seperation of fluid
and only utilizes the pushrod to send the fluid to each circuit. In that
case it does not matter which I do first, but still need to know in what
order to bleed which components. Chassis number 406...-..0956 Lastly,
using a power bleeder, would 10 psi be a max pressure to use?
All advice appreciated- Joe
