I’m guessing, men and women, boys and girls
That we are what is meant by “things to act”
That catch and cast the useless and the pearls
And make thereby our own distinct impact.
And in our willful actions we delight
And sometimes do forget why this was done
And lose the needed blessing and insight
That we were made for something by someone.
So testimony wise and kind and great
For profit and much learning to us bring
Is such that tells of him who did create
Both earth and sky and every other thing
“There is a God” said Lehi bold and true
And that should impact everything we do.
