Enos 1:21 And it came to pass that the people of Nephi did till the
land, and raise all manner of grain, and of fruit, and flocks of herds,
and flocks of all manner of cattle of every kind, and goats, and wild
goats, and also many horses.

Sonnet 672 Reflections on Enos 1:21 (With apologies to Oscar
Hammerstein)

The farmer and the cowman should be friends
This tension between cultures isn't new
And right from Cain and Abel this extends
To modern stress defined by what they do.

The farmer and cowman should be friends
And so should hunter gatherers and those
Who follow more agrarian like trends
They're different but they ought not to oppose.

The farmer and the cowman should be friends
And even those with faith and those without
Should not for that resort to violent ends
That's not what life is meant to be about.

When one offends and then the next contends
Well that's the reason why they caint be friends.
