Possibly the view of cyclists 100 years ago - ridiculous wasteful
contraption, it'll never last?

Well not many have lasted from 1904, so maybe they were right?

given that any car made before 1975 now seems to count as a restorable
collector's item judging by what appears in the mags of that ilk.
Sought-after Vauxhall Vivas! well, I never.

Known as the general category "grey porridge" ;-)

I'll be attending, possibly both Saturday (for the private jumble) and
the Sunday (for the trade stands, to stock up on inner tubes,
chains, etc) and will look out for you.

Yes, see you there on Sunday, with luck. If you would like a longer
ride on the Ross we can sort something out. I don't know whether Ian
Wright will let me go on the ride to Dalham at lunchtime without a
Moulton, although when I saw him _at_ Moulton during the Cambridge 50 he
didn't seem worried.

On a Moulton-Cam topic, has anyone officially claimed the title
of First Moulton Over The Milton Bridge?

I might be able to claim first recumbent over it, on 27th June. And
agree those those pillars are horrible. The only way I could negociate
them was by crossing to the "pedestrian" side"!
