bad news for Cambridge Moultoneers

On walking along Hills Road this afternoon I noticed that H.
Drake is in the process of clearing out the shop and will close on
Friday. They are getting out of bike sales and concentrating on
other businesses.
This is bad news since AFAIK they are the only stockists in the
area for the range of 349 tyres, since they were Brompton sellers.
So no more Bromptons or Schwalbes!
I can't believe that Cambridge will be left Bromptonless as the
town is heaving with them, so who's taking on the dealership? In
the meantime F-framers, don't blow a cover because it looks like
mail order until further notice!
AM and other Moultons are unaffected as their needs are stocked
at Ben Haywards who are still very much trading.
Will report back on progress unless anyone local knows more about
this.
