Subject: July 29 Wednesday Night Racing- CANCELLED
To: mvai-@googlegroups.com
Due to the record breaking heat wave the greater Seattle area is
experiencing, the MVA has decided to cancel Wednesday, July 29 racing. We
believe that it would be unsafe for the membership at our track to race
tomorrow evening in such hot conditions. The light color of the track, as
well as the banking intensify the heat and makes it an oven on the infield.
Stay tuned for updates about Thursday Night Racing, as racing will be
dependent on the weather cooling off. Thank you for your understanding. -
