Nyman/(+Eno) Festival.

From Saturday 24th. October til the 31th. there will be a `Michael
Nyman` Festival , right here in my hometown Groningen ,the Netherlands.
Tha man himself will be present and, among many other activities perform
his `1-100` pieces for piano. ( from the Eno `Obscure` series).
Tha accompanying brochure to the festival says that thy thought is was
apt to pay attention to Brian Eno as well.
There will be an exhibition of some of his ; `ambient music/video`s and
films`.
Dutch acoustic ensemble `Lunapark` will perform `Discrete Music` and
the`Three Variations on the Canon in D Major` (originally by John
Pachebel.).
Dutch composer Arnold Veeman will perform his `Gaming on Eno` ( based on
Eno`s generative music).
They say `Discrete Muic` is a world premiere.
I`ve made inquieries with dutch radio wether they will make recordings
of the concerts, but they haven`t replied yet.
When they do, I`ll let you know.
