Diva Weekend
Lakeshore Bicycling and Fitness is changing their annual Ladies Day event to Ladies Days and renaming it Diva Weekend. It will start with Diva Nite on Thursday, March 22nd. At 6:00 PM, there will be a wine and cheese reception at our Westside location, 2108 Blanding Blvd. At 7:00, Specialized Cycling Diva, Anne Shilton, will present the latest designs and innovations for women. Bryan Beatty and Garf Cooper, who have completed the Specialized fit school, will be available to answer questions about bike fit. Bring your own bike or get fitted for a new Specialized bike.
Friday morning, Anne will bring a van full of Specialized Dolces and Rubys to my 8:30 ride in Orange Park. This is your opportunity to ride a new Specialized road bike, designed for women, for 20-30 miles or more. She even has a few mountain bikes and a Vita Multi Sport for us to try out. After the ride, you can loosen up trying out our new fitness Hoola Hoops.
9:00 AM, Saturday morning, we will have a Ladies only ride. There will be the option of a 20 or 40 mile ride from our Westside store, 2108 Blanding Blvd. You can also test ride a new Specialized or Terry bike on this ride. Anne won't be there so we won't have as large a selection. After the ride we'll have a Yoga class led by Carmen Martinez, followed by lunch. After lunch Bryan Beatty will lead a maintenance and flat fixing clinic.
Oh... and not to worry, we will have ladies clothing and accessories on sale Thursday through Saturday.
