From improving your performance on hills to emergency maneuvers, MassBike's
Bicycling Skills classes teach a range of skills to help both beginning and
intermediate/advanced bicyclists ride more safely and enjoyably. Sign up now
for our fall classes.
a.. ***FREE*** Intro to Bicycling Safety: Wednesday, Sept. 7 from
5:30--8:00 p.m. in Boston. This off-bike lecture and discussion class is
free and open to the public; just email bike-@massbike.org to reserve a
space. We'll go over tips and strategies useful for cyclists at all levels.
a.. Bicycling 101: Basic Road Riding: Sunday, Sept. 11, 9am-5pm in
Somerville. Improve your technique, and get more comfortable riding in
traffic. $50 regular; $40 for MassBike members and members of select partner
organizations. Pre-requisite is Intro to Bicycling Safety. Register online

a.. Bicycling 201: Intermediate/Advanced Road Riding: Sunday, September
18, 9am-5pm in Somerville. Learn advanced riding techniques, emergency
maneuvers, and mechanical skills. Pre-requisite is Intro to Bicycling Safety
(Bicycling 101 recommended but not required for more advanced cyclists.) $50
regular; $40 for MassBike members and membesr of select partner
