Took the words right out of my mouth. To find out more
about the newspaper project's activities in nyc, see
metropolitan archivist for last spring, "The New York
State Newspaper Project". I think you'll find everything
you're looking for at NYPL. Laura

Try this link http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/
It's for the New York State Newspaper Project, they try
to index the locations of all newspapers published in
New York.

What's the best place to look for back issues of
newspapers? I'm
looking for particular articles that appeared in the
following
publications:
New York Times Feb. 24, 1907, Aug. 5, 1907
New York Telegram Apr. 29, 1907
New York Sun Aug. 3, 1907, Aug. 11, 1907
NY Evening Post Aug. 16, 1907, Dec. 5, 1907
I know the NYT is online, but wasn't sure where the
rest might
be. Anyone have any suggestions?
Joe
