Robert

My trip from Saint Petersburg to Beijing is 22 days.
Days 1-3 St Petersburg
Days 4-6 Moscow
Day 7 Suzdal
Days 8-10 Trans-Siberian Railway
Days 11-12 Irkutsk
Days 13-14 Trans-Mongolian Railway
Days 15-17 Ulaan Baatar
Days 18-21 Beijing

I thought also about staying in Warsaw for 24 hours just to see what it is like there.

As I see the schedule now I should be in Okinawa around the 3rd of October and will visit for approximately 2 weeks or more in Okinawa. I may try to take a short trip to Korea. I still have some finial decisions to make.

I think it would be great to get-together with all the topica people attending the 4Th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival. I have a friend and his wife in Colorado who was planning to go to Okinawa in August but I hope to have him change his mind to be there in October also.

Jerry, that's quite a trip you are planning which will end in Okinawa for the 4th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival.
"Seattle to Frankfurt by air, train to Moscow and then to Beijing and a flight to Okinawa!" Just out of curiosity, how long
will that trip be? I would certainly enjoy some time both in Moscow and Beijing, let alone the long train ride and extra
air trips.
I was thinking my own plan of going to Taipei, Shanghai, Nanqing. and possibly Qingdao as being somewhat extraordinary
or involved enough, but yours is terrific! China Eastern, by the way, now has only two flights between Naha and Shanghai
so I'll have to watch my scheduling.
It would be fun to meet some of our 'Okinawa Discussion Group' members at the festival! I hope to see Gil Gonzalez, for
example...and I wonder if Donna Shiroma might be able to attend the 'taikai'.
Hope you and "The Marion" will enjoy everything!!
