RE: New Bike  ROB PENNELL

After riding Sunday I am sold on 29er's. It just rolls over anything.
When I new I was going to hit something I would get ready to take the
hit but it just wasnt there. Felt like riding a couch. You can keep
your speed way up there through the tech stuff. It also seems to corner
better. I was worried about the real tight tech stuff but after 30 mins
I was throwing it around just like my 26". That may have more to do
with frame fit than 29" tires. I run a 34x17 on my 26" so I went with a
34x18 on this thing. Too big! I am going to try a 34x19 and see how
that works. I would like run a little less than 2:1 since it rolls so
easy on the flat stuff I dont think I will loose any speed.

damn, that is nice.

how is riding the 29 compared to the 26? Does it make a good set up for
SS?

Wow this list is dead! Here is a link to my new ride. Rode it Sunday
and I ran out of good things to say about it. Everything is spot on!
Damn you gotta love custom steel!
