Last Chance For This Old D24 TDM System Before It Hits Craig's
List Etc...

All the below PCI Digidesign Pro Tools hardware and software is available
for $500 OBO plus shipping. Itıs a good little 32 track system TDM for any 5
Slot G4, D24 Core card and three DSP Farm cards (the fifth slot is AGP),
882/20 and ADAT Bridge audio interfaces for 24 I/O channels, plus Pro Tools
software and Mac OS9 TDM plugs. This system will run under SVP in DAE Mode
(SVP 4.2.2 is best for DAE IMO), and is expandable beyond what is for sale
here should you desire etc. This system actually cost approximately $15,000
plus including the plugs when it was new in the mid 1990ıs (list price not
including tax)!

Included PCI Cards:

Digidesign D24 Card (D24 Core supports 16 Channels of I/O)

Typically $150 - $200.

Three DSP Farms (Rev QE, good for Mac G3/G4, each supports 16 Channels of
I/O)

Typically $75 - $100 each.

Digidesign TDM Audio Interfaces:

Digidesign 882/20 (8 X 20 bit analog I/O, 2 X 24bit SPDIF I/O)

Typically $50 - $100.

Digidesign ADAT Bridge (16 X 16bit ADAT I/O, 2 X 24bit SPDIF I/O, 2 X 24bit
AES I/O, 2 X 20bit analog outs).

Typically $50.

Cables:

All the Digidesign TDM cables needed to connect the above audio interfaces
and PCI cards for 24 channels of I/O.

Typically $150 for all five (3 TDM Interface cables, 1 TDM Y-cable, and 1
Five Card TDM Bridge cable).

Software:

Included: Pro Tools 5.1.3 for Mac OS9 and Mac OS9 TDM plugs from Lexicon,
MacDSP, Focusrite, Serato, Waves, TC, Digidesign, Line 6, Antares, Aphex,
DBX, Bombfactory and others for those wanting to use system this under Mac
OS9 with SVP, Pro Tools, Logic, or Digital Performer. Audioeaseıs Altiverb
TDM v2 Convolution Reverb will also run on this system (not included), and
it is the only OS9 Convolution Reverb solution available to SVP. IMO
Digidesign Pro Tools TDM is the only way to keep SVP relatively current as
you get no-latency audio I/O, plus the power of the three DSP Cards, all in
addition to your host CPU running RTAS plugs (RTAS plugs are similar to VST
plugs, which is all you have via Acadia plus the Acadia/ASIO latency
issues).

This hardware will also run via Pro Tools software under Mac OSX 10.2.x and
Windows XP (minus the Mac OS9 plugs of course, though Iım not sure about
Logic and DP under OSX, waiting to hear?).

Reasonable offers encouraged, no low ballers please...

Doug
